Just in case you missed it, the results of our most recent prompt battle, "Beneath the Surface", have finally been announced!

The theme for this prompt battle was 'something that isn't what it seems'. In short, our creators were tasked with creating a prompt that was hiding something! What exactly were they hiding? Well, that's for you to find out!

In 8th place is Mara, written by IПƧΛПΣ GӨD🛸! She's known as a simple street artist, but how did she end up this way? Is her past a secret to be discovered, or something that should remain buried by the sands of time?

And finally, in 9th place, we have Evan - Innocent (not really?) classmate, written by I hate breakfast! He's the calm, gentle type. Usually. But for just a moment, you catch a glimpse of something lurking deep within - is it worth exploring further? Or should you run while you still can?

Unfortunately, our 10th place winner removed their prompt, so they haven't been included in the listing.
